Ogilvy & Mather UK is offering its expertise and ideas for free at Marketing Week Live taking place at Olympia London on the 27th to 28th June. In an effort to give something back to the community, the Ogilvy Ideas shop will offer small businesses and charities advice across the full range of marketing disciplines.
Supported by #OgilvyChange, Ogilvy’s Behavioural Science Practice, the Ideas shop will leverage the latest thinking in cognitive psychology, social psychology and behavioural economics to create behavioural interventions in the real world.
“We wanted to give something back to the community by doing what we do best. And often we find in small businesses the same kind of interesting challenges which our larger clients face. If we can solve it for one, we can solve it for the other. In any case, it’s great fun.” said Rory Sutherland, vice-chairman, Ogilvy & Mather UK.
The Ideas shop will be staffed by agency volunteers, all of them experts in their individual fields, ranging from digital, strategy, business development, client services, advertising, PR, direct marketing, SEO, point of sale, data analysis and behavioural change.
Interested businesses and charities are invited to register for a 90-minute session at ideashop.ogilvy.co.uk. Individuals can also drop in for advice during the two days if slots are available.
