Celebs sign up to join the citizenry of Hopenhagen
5 December 2009
Last night (4th December) Vivienne Westwood, her special guests and VIPs from the world of art, film, fashion and TV came London’s Bloomsbury Ballroom for a “one night only” performance of “Active Resistance to Propaganda”, Dame Vivienne’s impassioned - if sometimes slightly chaotic - call for a more cultured society.
The production brought together a cast and audience of actors and celebrities. Among those taking part were actors Michelle Ryan and Frances Barber, as well as Vivienne herself. The manifesto - which was still being rewritten as it was performed on stage! - was delivered by 25 characters from literature, art and history including Pinocchio, Aristotle and Alice from Wonderland.
The Ogilvy Hopenhagen team was also there, persuading guests to sign up. Among those to do so were actors Michelle Ryan (above) and Laura Haddock (below).
If you’d like to join Michelle and Laura in becoming one of the (at time of writing) 497,000 citizens of Hopenhagen, please visit www.hopenhagen.org now!
