Chivas Regal 25 Year Old back after 100-year absence

Chivas Regal 25 Year Old Original was recently relaunched after an absence of almost a century.  Originally created in 1909 for the US East Coast market during the pioneering spirit of New York’s glamour, sophistication and indulgence it then disappeared from view with the onset of WW1 and the era of prohibition.

Coley Porter Bell designed the new visual identity, drawing inspiration from the spirit of optimism and celebration of 1909 to create a bottle and secondary packaging that exude exuberant luxury while retaining the Chivas Regal heritage and complimenting the existing Chivas Regal 12 yr old and Chivas Regal 18 yr old blends. A variety of materials are used on the bottle including a decorative, silver and gold metal neck sleeve and red wax neck seal which endorse the authenticity of Chivas Regal 25 Year Old Original. The exterior packaging comprises a black rigid sleeve housing a handsome, leather bound box, blind embossed with the new shield, with the bottle inside. Needless to say, this level of luxury does not come cheap. The whiskey is rolling out globally at a price point of $299 dollars.
