Kuga campaign fills a blank canvas

Why do objects from our everyday lives have to follow the same old design rules? This was the question that inspired both the look of the new Ford Kuga and the launch campaign unveiled recently from Ogilvy Advertising.

Entitled “blank canvas”, the campaign includes 60”, 40” and 30” TV spots, print ads, ambient, plus an on-line campaign and micro-site from fellow Ford Blue Team agency Wunderman. 

The TV work was directed by Nicolai Fugslig, best known for the award-winning Sony “balls” spot, and features music from French chanteuse Camille.

First aired during the half-time break of the final of this year’s Champions League final, the campaign will run across 21 European markets until November.
