Finance Director, Ogilvy Group UK

Mike qualified as an accountant back in 1983 and spent time working with Price Waterhouse in London and Bermuda, prior to moving to the Ogilvy Group. He spent three years working with the smaller UK units Primary Contact (our business-to-business specialist) and O&M PR before spending three years with O&M in London.

After that he spent three years as finance director of Ogilvy’s Worldwide Client Service set-up, based out of London, working with the agency’s multinational client finances.

From 1997 to 2002 he was the finance director and management partner for operations at OgilvyOne London and since 2003 has been the finance director of Ogilvy Group UK, making a total of 17 years altogether with the company.

Mike is married with 3 teenage kids. His hobbies (if the last line isn’t enough!) include renovating his oast house in the beautiful countryside of Kent, playing most sports (especially cricket, field hockey and tennis) and travelling.
