Rachel is a senior strategist, with a wide breadth of experience from FMCG, to retail, to finance, to automotive. She is passionate about the commercial value that brand ideas can deliver to clients’ business. And she is passionate about creativity.

She started her career at BMP in 1990 working with clients such as Unilever and Barclaycard. From 1996 to 1997, Rachel was the Account Planner for the Labour Party’s general election campaign. After leaving BMP in 1997 she joined the BBC’s Corporate Strategy team, and in 1999, she became Head of Audience Insight.

Rachel joined BBH in 2000, and for four years, she headed up strategic planning on various pieces of business: One2One, T-Mobile, Lynx/Axe, ITV. During this time Rachel was responsible for driving the effectiveness agenda at BBH and helped the agency become Effectiveness Agency of the Year at the 2002 IPA Effectiveness awards.

Rachel was promoted to Head of Planning in September 2004, heading up various pieces of business such as Barclays and Flora. During her time as Head of Planning, she championed the effectiveness agenda, leading BBH to its best ever performance at the IPA Effectiveness Awards in 2008, where the Agency won Grand Prix and Effectiveness Agency of the Year.

Between 2008 – 2009 Rachel was the lead strategic planner for Audi and Britvic (Robinsons, J2O and Tango), and at the end of 2009 she moved to Ogilvy Group UK as planning director.
