CPB creates new look for Museum of London
- Client: Museum of London
- Media: design, branding, corporate identity
- Year: 2009

Coley Porter Bell re-branded the Museum of London as part of its largest ever redevelopment, and the first time the identity has undergone a radical change since the late 1970’s. The bold identity resembles a thumbprint signifying the people that have left their ‘mark’ on London throughout history.

Designed to represent an ever- changing city, the coloured layers map out the shape of its past, present and future. The logotype draws influences from typographic heritage echoing iconic street signage.
The work earned CPB a first-place award in the corporate identity category for recreation and entertainment at the international Mobius Advertising Awards, one of the design world’s most prestigious competitions.
